A duck has water-proof feathers. There is a special gland called the “Preen Gland” near the ducks tail. This tiny gland produces oil which the duck uses to coat beneath the water-proof feathers which keep the ducks warm.
And Bill aptly quacked to his significant other, “Happy Labor Day to you and your ‘under-your-fluffy-soft-feathers’ other utter!”
